Raise the Roof - Covered Horse Arena Campaign
Darke County has one of the largest equestrian youth groups in the state of Ohio. The Darke County Horse Arena hosts events throughout the year including The Great Darke County Fair shows, open horse shows, horse pulls, cowboy mounted shooting and many other events. These events are constantly under the threat of cancellation due to excessive rain or heat.
Our Mission
To raise 2 million dollars to cover the horse arena to mitigate the impact of weather on events and to expand the use season.
The covered horse arena will serve as a hub for youth development, community connection, and equestrian excellence. The facility will provide a safe, all weather space for horse shows, ride nights, and educational events - uniting generations through a shared passion and purpose.
