SPECIAL ATTRACTIONS
A special attraction is a unique feature, event, exhibit, or activity designed to draw people’s interest and create a memorable experience. Special attractions can be found all around the Great Darke County Fair, and often provide entertainment, education, or hands-on experiences that stand out from regular activities. Examples include live performances, animal exhibits, interactive displays, historical demonstrations, and themed events that encourage visitors to explore and engage with the attraction. These are free to spectate, attend and enjoy.
Bear Hollow Wood Carvers
Founded in 2002 by owners Cindy and Jason Emmons, Bear Hollow Wood Carvers began as a humble dream fueled by a love for chainsaw carving and a desire to share their art with the world. What started with just a chainsaw and a chunk of wood has blossomed into a thriving business, with a retail store in French Lick, Indiana and the continued growth of our traveling shows to nearly 300 dates annually this dream has exceeded all expectations. With the growth of Bear Hollow Wood Carvers, Jason and Cindy were able to expand the carving team to 20 artists of like minds, creativity, and work ethic that all share a passion for their profession.

All American Pig Racing
Don’t miss the crowd-favorite All American Pig Races at the Great Darke County Fair! Watch adorable piglets race around the track in a fast-paced, action-packed event filled with laughter, cheers, and family fun. Fairgoers of all ages will enjoy picking a favorite pig and cheering them to victory.
Find the Pig Races south of the Dog Show Arena and stop by anytime during the fair to catch a race. It’s a squealing good time you won’t want to miss!
All American Petting Zoo
The All American Petting Zoo and Pony Ride is a family owned and operated business that is celebrating over 15 years at fairs and festivals. Owners Charles L. Beam and family love their jobs as much as their animals do!

Do-Si-Do at the Fair!
Join us for Square Dancing with The Swinging 8's Club at the Great Darke County Fair! Whether you're a seasoned dancer or just love watching the fun, everyone is welcome to come out and enjoy.

National Kiddie Tractor Pulls
Kiddie Tractor Pulls are back for the 2026 Great Darke County Fair! Do you have a kiddo that loves all things tractors? Or maybe just wants to show off their skills! Well, this is the event for them! Come on out and join the event!
Rules & Regulations:
1. All contestants must have a parent or guardian sign proper paperwork prior to pulling
2. Age classes 3-4, 5-6, and 7-8 years of age
3. Trophies are awarded for placings 1st-5th.
